In south India, Maharashtra and Gujarat, Intra uterine Uttar basti (IUUB) is being used to treat tubal infertility and other disorders with tremendous results. But it is not much in practice in North India. Even persons related to Ayurvedic school of medicine were not aware about it's results . Such an effective and cost effective procedure to treat tubal blockage couldn't get importance here. To fulfill this lacuna only, we started the procedure in our small town. As the results are extremely obvious, people started coming from adjacent districts and even from distant places. Hence, Anand Hospital, Pratapgarh became one of the very few centers in North India providing IUUB treatment for tubal infertility.
